RAMALLAH, May 6, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy to cloudy and dusty with a slight rise in temperature, approaching two degrees Celsius above seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A chance of scattered rain showers is expected during the evening and night hours. Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature is expected to reach a high in the mid to upper twenties in most of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip with the exception of the Jordan Valley where hot conditions prevail with temperature in the mid and upper thirties. However at night, temperature drops to the mid and upper teens in most areas of the West Bank and to the low twenties in the Gaza Strip.
A drop in temperature is expected for Monday to become three degrees Celsius below seasonal average. Rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected in most areas in Palestine on Monday.
Another drop in temperature is expected for Tuesday to reach five degrees below seasonal average, with a high chance of rain, thunderstorms and hail on most areas.
However on Wednesday, temperature is likely to rise but generally remain below seasonal average, and with a little chance of scattered rain.
