RAMALLAH, April 27, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold, giving way to scattered rain showers, which could be torrential, and occasional thunderstorms and hail later afternoon, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperatures are set to slightly rise and approach two degrees Celsius (°C) below the seasonal average. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C and in Ramallah a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza.

Saturday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy and pleasant in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime with a rise in temperatures which approach the seasonal average. Scattered rain showers are expected to fall in early morning hours.

Sunday’s weather is mostly sunny and relatively warm in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime and temperatures are set to significantly rise and approach five °C above the seasonal average.

PMD expects temperatures to further rise and approach eight °C above the seasonal average on Monday with mainly sunny, warm and dry conditions.
