RAMALLAH, April 26, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold with a significant drop in temperature to become four degrees Celsius less than its annual average. Scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail at times are expected on most areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, strong at times. Sea waves are medium to high.
Partially cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions expected at night with scattered rain.
Temperature on Thursday in most of the West Bank is expected to reach the upper teens to low 20s during the day with the exception of the Jordan Valley where temperature reaches the upper 20s. A drop in temperature is expected at night to reach the low to mid-teens in most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
PMD also predicted temperature and conditions on Friday to remain the same. Scattered rain showers along with thunderstorms and hail at times are expected on most areas.
Saturday’s weather is expected to be partially cloudy to clear and mild. Temperature is expected to rise becoming around its annual average. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected in early morning hours.
On Sunday weather is expected to be partially cloudy to clear and relatively hot on mountains. Temperature is expected to significantly rise to become five degrees above its annual average.
PMD warned citizens on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog, low clouds, strong winds and sliding on roads.
