RAMALLAH, April 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Police records showed 298 road accidents in the West Bank last week that caused 221 injuries, including six critical, a police statement said on Saturday.
It said that 11 of the injuries were reported moderate and 204 minor.
Police inspected 7913 vehicles last week and ordered 304 vehicles off the road for lacking general safety requirements, said the report. Police also destroyed 150 illegal vehicles.
In addition, police issued 3804 traffic tickets during the week.
