GAZA, April 7, 2018 (WAFA) – Eight Palestinian protesters were on Saturday shot and injured during clashes with Israeli forces on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
Three protesters were injured as Israeli soldiers opened gunfire at protesters to the east of Gaza City. They were moved to Shifa Hospital in Gaza for medical treatment. One of the three was reported to have been critically injured, while the condition of the other two was described as moderate.
Meanwhile, five protesters were shot and injured by Israeli forces to the east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip. They were moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
More than 23 Palestinian protesters have been killed by Israeli troops at Gaza‘s eastern border since March 30.
