NABLUS, April 5, 2018 (WAFA) - Hundreds of settlers broke on Thursday into Joseph‘s Tomb in the northern West Bank city of Nablus under heavy Israeli army protection triggering clashes with Palestinians, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that busloads of fanatic settlers forced their way into the site at dawn to perform Jewish religious rituals there as Israeli forces secured the road and location for them.
Palestinian residents clashed with the soldiers and settlers during which Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the Palestinians. No injuries were reported.
Jewish settlers regularly go to Joseph’s Tomb under heavy army protection where they hold religious rituals and they often clash with local Palestinian residents.
