RAMALLAH, March 29, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces detained on Thursday 22 Palestinians across the West Bank and East Jerusalem during predawn raids, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
It said in a statement that Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from Nablus, two from Jenin, one from Salfit, and a youth from Qalqilya in the northern West Bank after raiding their homes and ransacking them.
Five Palestinians were detained from East Jerusalem, in addition to four Palestinians from Ramallah and al-Bireh, in the central West Bank, including a Palestinian official and two minors, one of them is of special needs.
From Hebron, to the south of West Bank, Israeli forces detained five Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces issued administrative detention orders against 23 Palestinians ranging between two to six months, renewable.
Mahmoud Halabi, PPS attorney, said that 11orders were issued against Palestinians who were detained for the first time or who were re-detained after they were released.
