JERUSALEM, March 22, 2018 (WAFA) – A large Israeli force raided on Thursday for the second day in a row Shufat refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, and detained 19 Palestinians, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that the force raided the camp in the pre-dawn hours and broke into a number of homes using police dogs, ransacked them and terrorized women and children who were awaken in the middle of the night at the sight of soldiers in their homes.
Israeli soldiers also broke open and searched a number of shops and warehouses and handed some people notices to appear before Israeli intelligence.
At least 20 residents of Shufat refugee camp were detained the day before in another major Israeli search-and-arrest campaign in the Jerusalem camp, which was blocked off the rest of the city with an eight-meter high concrete wall.
