RAMALLAH, February 25, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Sunday declared that a security cordon would be imposed on the West Bank and Gaza for a period of four days for the Jewish holiday of Purim.
A four-day closure will be imposed on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip for the Jewish Purim holiday starting from Tuesday the 27th until midnight Saturday.
According to Israeli army, Gaza crossings with Israel will be closed and entry into Israel for all Israeli-issued permit holders will be banned.
However, humanitarian and medical cases would be granted permission to cross the military points, after obtaining entry approval from the Israeli side.
Israel regularly seals off the occupied Palestinian territories during Jewish holidays.
