BEIRUT, June 19, 2026 (WAFA) – A series of Israeli strikes early Friday morning killed 15 people across southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon's National News Agency.
It reported that the Israeli occupation army committed several massacres in the towns of Al-Sharqiya, Harouf, and Kfarsir in the Nabatieh district as airstrikes targeted inhabited homes, resulting in several fatalities, casualties, and missing persons.
It added that Nabatieh and its surrounding areas experienced one of the most difficult nights during the recent aggression, as Israeli intense artillery shelling targeted the city of Nabatieh, the Kfarjouz area, and the towns of Kfarman, Zebdine, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Habboush, Sajd, and Jabal al-Rafi'.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the city of Nabatieh, the towns of Kfartebnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa, the Kfarjouz–Nabatieh area, the Al-Jami‘at neighbourhood of Nabatieh city, and Harouf’s Al-Baydar neighbourhood, resulting in the killing of eight citizens.
Another airstrike targeted the Al-Ashamiya area between the towns of Al-Sharqiya and Doueir, destroying a house and killing four people, at a time when intensive artillery shelling hit Nabatieh’s Al-Rahibat neighbourhood. In the town of Kfarsir, an Israeli airstrike killed three people.
Another strike pounded the town of Qsaybeh, while artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of Kfarsir and Qsaybeh, followed by strikes on Kfardajjal and Kfartebnit.
A combat drone strike targeted a motorcycle near the Doueir Municipality building, killing a person and injuring another.
The town of Jibchit was also subjected to a series of drone strikes that coincided with artillery shelling of the town.
