HEBRON, January 25, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces on Thursday notified three families in al-Samoo, to the south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, to halt construction on their homes, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said staff from the so-called Israeli civil administration’s zoning department accompanied by Israeli forces broke into the town and ordered the three residents to stop all construction work on their homes under the pretext they were building in Area C without a permit.
Area C makes around 60 percent of the area of the occupied West Bank and is under full Israeli military control.
Israel does not allow Palestinian construction in Area C while it constantly builds thousands of settlement units for Israelis in these areas, which it plans to one day annex to Israel.
