RAMALLAH, January 24, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy to clear, relatively cold and occasionally rainy with a slight rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers is expected for some areas. Wind is southwesterly to westerly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

A low pressure is expected to affect the region on Thursday. Therefore, weather is expected to be very cold, rainy and windy. Rain, thunderstorms and occasional hail are expected on several areas.

Weather on Friday remains cloudy and very cold. Temperature is expected to drop again. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail at times are expected on some areas. A chance of snow is expected on mountains 900 meters above sea level.

The PMD warns people about low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds. People are also warned against sliding on roads, strong winds and formation of floods in low areas.
