JENIN, January 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday raided the city of Jenin as well as its refugee camp and neighborhoods, according to local sources.
Israeli forces raided a few neighborhoods in the city and set up a military post inside an uninhabited house.
Sources said Israeli forces raided the neighborhood of Wad Burqin almost on daily basis after the killing of Ahmad Ismail Jarrar, during an Israeli raid in search of the individual behind the shooting operation near Nablus which left one Israeli settler dead.
Soldiers also set up checkpoints throughout the city and its surrounding villages and towns.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the village of Rummana, to the south of Jenin, which caused clashes to erupt between youths and the Israeli soldiers.
Forces also raided shops and homes in the town of Silat ad-Daher, to the south of Jenin, and inspected Palestinians identification cards and personal belongings.
