JERUSALEM, January 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli Jewish settlers Sunday broke into al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection of the Israeli police and performed Talmudic rituals, according to local sources.
Divided into groups, the extremist settlers broke into the vicinity of the holy Muslim site through the Bab al-Dhahbi Golden Gate and went on provocative tours, while the Israeli police there provided protection for them.
According to statistics issued by the Islamic Waqf (Endowment), 14,806 Israeli Jewish settlers’ incursions to al-Aqsa Mosque occurred in 2016 only.
