RAMALLAH, January 20, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is partially cloudy, with a significant rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is expected to reach a high of 12°C on Saturday and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 9°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza.

The PMD expects weather on Sunday to be partially cloudy to cloudy with another rise in temperature to become higher than its annual average.

Partially cloudy to clear and dusty skies are expected to prevail on Monday. Temperature is expected to slightly drop while remaining higher than its annual average.

However, a low pressure is expected to hit the region on Tuesday. Weather is expected to be cold with rain, thunderstorms and hail expected to fall on several areas.
