JERUSALEM, January 19, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Friday blocked the main entrance to the town of Hizma to the northeast of occupied Jerusalem with concrete blocks following a late night military raid into the town, said local sources.
Israeli forces raided Hizma town on Thursday evening and prevented residents from entering or leaving it.
Forces reportedly forced residents to close their shops, under the pretext of a stone throwing attack against an Israeli bus driving near the town.
Clashes reportedly erupted between the town residents and soldiers, who fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades toward the former. No injuries or arrests were reported.
