JERUSALEM, January 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli police Tuesday detained ten Palestinians, including eight minors, in the Jerusalem area, said Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

Three Palestinians, including an activist and his son, were detained by Israeli police for attempting to prevent a group of settlers from driving a truck through his privately-owned land towards Wadi Al-Rababeh area in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan; where digging operations are currently underway in preparation for the construction of a ‘pedestrian bridge’.

Seven minors between the ages of 11 and 17 were also detained after police raided and searched their family homes in Jabal Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in At Tur area in Jerusalem City.

They were taken to a detention and interrogation center in the city.
