RAFAH, January 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities reopened on Tuesday the commercial border crossing with Gaza known as Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom), to the east of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, after closing it for two days under security pretexts.
The crossing was closed after Israeli warplanes bombed a nearby site on Saturday.
Karm Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing used for the entry of goods, aid and fuel from Israel into Gaza.
