RAMALLAH, January 11, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is clear with a further rise in temperature approaching seven degrees Celsius above its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southeasterly to southwesterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature on Thursday in Jerusalem, Ramallah and the central West Bank is in the mid to the upper teens during the day and drops to around 8 degrees Celsius at night. In the northern West Bank, the Jordan Valley and the Gaza Strip temperature is expected to reach a high of 20-23 degrees Celsius and a low of 12 degrees.

Partially cloudy to clear skies are expected to prevail on Friday. Temperature is expected to drop while remaining three degrees Celsius above the annual average.

On Saturday, temperature is expected to rise and approach five degrees Celsius above seasonal average.

Temperature is expected to significantly drop on Sunday setting back to its seasonal average. Rain is expected to fall on many areas on Sunday.
