NOUAKCHOTT, January 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Fatima Bint al-Maidah, Head of the Mauritanian parliamentary group in support of the Palestinian cause Thursday called on US President Donald Trump to reverse his recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
She said during a protest in front of the US Embassy in Nouakchott, "We demand that the US president withdraw this decision, which was rejected by the entire world.”
She called on all international parliaments to actively participate in the international movement rejecting this decision, and on Mauritanians to actively contribute to highlight the level of support of the Mauritanian people for the State of Palestine, its people and their legitimate rights.
