Israeli forces detain seven Palestinians from West Bank

NABLUS, January 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday conducted multiple predawn raids across the West Bank, detaining seven Palestinians, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces detained three Palestinians after storming and ransacking their family homes in Salem village, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, forces conducted a similar raid into Siris village, south of Jenin, handcuffing and detaining two Palestinians.

Another Palestinian was rounded up from the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.

Another was detained during a similar raid into Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

PPS said that Israeli forces have detained approximately 750 Palestinians, including 190 minors and 15 women, since US President Donald Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
