Producer Price Index down in November 2017, says Statistics Bureau

 

RAMALLAH, December 31, 2017 (WAFA) – The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine reached 99.48 in November 2017, as it decreased by 1.98% compared to October 2017 (base month: December 2015), according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistic (PCBS).

Producer Price Index for locally consumed products reached 99.46 in November 2017, which indicates a decrease by 2.10% compared to October 2017.

Producer Price Index for local exported products reached 99.56 in November 2017, which indicates a decrease by 0.96% compared to October 2017.

The changes of Producer Price Index for November 2017 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
