Israeli forces detain 16 Palestinian, including 10 from Jerusalem

 

JERUSALEM, December 31, 2017 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Sunday arrested 16 Palestinians from several cities across the West Bank, said security and location sources. 

Israeli soldiers arrested two Palestinians east of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching their home. 

 

Another two 20 year-old Palestinians from the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, were arrested at a military checkpoint on their way to the city of Ramallah. 


Israeli soldiers arrested two Palestinians during a raid into the city of Nablus. Security sources told WAFA that the army raided the city at dawn and raided few houses. 


Israeli police detained 10 Palestinians from the occupied city of Jerusalem, 9 of whom are from the town of Issawiya.


Israeli forces also detained a young man from the town of Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem. 


To the south in Hebron, Israeli soldiers chased after a vehicle carrying Palestinian workers and arrested two. 


The coordinator of the popular committee for the south of Hebron, Rateb Jabour told WAFA that Israeli soldiers chased the vehicle and shot it until it was on its side. The workers who were on their way to work were arrested then.
