RAMALLAH, December 28, 2017 (WAFA) – At least 16 Palestinians were detained from late Wednesday until early Thursday in the West Bank during Israeli army raids at their homes, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Four were detained in the Ramallah district, two from Qalandia refugee camp, south of Ramallah, four from Kufr Dan village in the Jenin district, two from Toubas, near Jenin and one from Nablus in the north of the West Bank, as well as two from Hebron and one from Bethlehem in the south of the West Bank.
The PPS said Israel has detained a total of 637 Palestinians in the West Bank since the outbreak of protests on December 6 following US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel‘s capital. They included 174 minors and 13 women.
