JERUSALEM, December 23, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli security forces detained on Saturday three Palestinian men following a night of clashes in the narrow streets of the Old City of Jerusalem, according to reports.

The three were taken from their homes in al-Wad Street, one of the main streets in the Old City, and took them for interrogation.

Police claimed the three were involved in the clashes that took place in the Old City between Palestinian residents protesting a US decision considering their city as capital of Israel and security forces, who used force to quell the protests that have been a daily occurrence in the occupied Jerusalem since the December 6 US decision.

Reports said more than 250 Palestinians were detained in Jerusalem and its neighborhoods since December 6.
