JERUSALEM, December 22, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli police Friday assaulted and denied a group of Turkish tourists access to al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem and detained four of them, said WAFA correspondent.
Witnesses told WAFA that an argument took place between Israeli police and a group of Turkish tourists outside one of the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which resulted in a scuffle after police searched the tourists and prevented them from entering the compound because of their Turkish-flagged uniform.
Israeli police physically attacked the group, said witnesses and four of the tourists were taken to a police station in the old city of Jerusalem.
