Israel detains 14 Palestinians in West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, December 20, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early Wednesday at least 14 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank districts, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli army detained four Palestinians in Bethlehem, including a 15-year-old minor, three from Hebron area, three from Ramallah district, and two each from Jenin and Nablus districts.

In addition, Israeli security detained on the same day 11 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and its outskirts.

This brings the total number of Palestinians Israel detained since the beginning of the protests that followed US President Donald Trumps’ recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital on December 6 to 490, including 148 minors and 11 women, according to PPS.
