Five injured with live bullets during Gaza border clashes

 

GAZA,  December 17, 2017 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians Sunday were injured, including one critically, during clashes that broke out along the Gaza Strip’s borders as Palestinians continues to protest US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel, said sources.

A Palestinian was hit with live ammunition during confrontations that erupted to the east of Jabalia, north of the Strip. He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was described as critical.

Four others were injured after being shot with live fire during similar clashes that broke out to the east of Shaja‘iah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.

They were taken to hospitals and their medical conditions were described as moderate.

Several other Palestinians were treated for tear-gas inhalation, said media sources.
