RAMALLAH, December 17, 2017 (WAFA) – Palestinian teen Hamed Omar Masri, 14, who was detained by Israeli forces early December underwent a second surgery in the head on Saturday for wounds sustained during his arrest.
Raed Mahamid, Masri’s attorney, said the teen underwent a first surgery in his neck on Friday and a second one in the head on Saturday at Schneider children medical center, and is scheduled to undergo two other surgeries.
Masri was seriously wounded in his nose and left eye when Israeli soldiers used excessive force when they detained him on December 12 near the town of Salfit in the West Bank.
