RAMALLAH, December 17, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday and last night detained 17 Palestinians during several raids across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, raising the number of Palestinians arrested since the beginning of the ongoing unrest in early December to 430, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli army forces detained seven Palestinians from Jerusalem, five from Hebron, three from the Ramallah area, and one from Jenin.
PPS said the total number of Palestinians detained by Israeli forces since US President Donald Trump decided to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, rose to 430. The number includes 131 children and nine women.
