JERUSALEM, December 17, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Saturday evening released a Fatah member in Jerusalem under the condition that he will be banned from entering the city for 15 days.
Awad al-Salaimeh was detained by Israeli police during a protest against US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and plans to transfer the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The protest took place in Salah ad-Din Street in Jerusalem and Al-Salaimeh is now banned from entering Jerusalem for 15 days.
