GAZA, December 16, 2017 (WAFA) – Thousands of people participated in the funeral on Saturday of two Gazans, one of them disabled, shot dead by Israeli soldiers who opened fire at Palestinian civilian protesters near the border fence.
Ibrahim Abu Thuraya, who lost both of this legs in one of Israel’s wars on Gaza, was laid to rest in Shate refugee camp, while Yasir Sukkar was buried in Shajayeh, east of Gaza City.
The protests were part of a call to demonstrate against US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
