RAMALLAH, December 15, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth who was shot and critically injured during clashes in al-Bireh/Ramallah on Friday, succumbed to his critical wounds, said the Ministry of Health.

Forces reportedly opened heavy fire on a Palestinian youth during clashes that erupted at the northern entrance of al-Bireh, critically injuring him. Israeli police claimed that the youth carried out an alleged stabbing attack, injuring one soldier.

Palestinians across the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza took to the streets on Friday to  protest the U.S. official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
