RAMALLAH, July 11, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is abundantly sunny and warm to very warm and temperatures are set to rise and approach eight degrees Celsius above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly to westerly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

PMD expects temperatures to drop by two degrees Celsius on Wednesday with warm conditions in mountainous areas and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.

Relatively warm conditions are expected for mountainous areas and very warm conditions for the Jordan Valley on Thursday with a further slight drop in temperatures which approach five degrees above the average.

Temperatures are set to rise and approach six degrees Celsius above the seasonal average on Friday with warm conditions in mountainous areas and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
