RAMALLAH, March 14, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Tuesday set up caravans on Palestinian land east of al-Mughayer, to the east of Ramallah, in what appears to be a new settlement outpost, according to local sources.
Kazam Haj Mohammad, a local community activist, told WAFA that the settlers put up caravans on land that belongs to al-Mughayer, Abu Falah and Kufr Malik.
They encircled the caravans with barbed wires and opened an access road to them, he added.
This comes only less than 40 days after Israeli authorities evacuated nearby Amona outpost and relocated its settlers to Ofra settlement, nearby, pending a decision to move them to a new settlement.
The recently passed Israel‘s "land grab" law also encouraged settlers to freely take over Palestinian land and build settlements on them.
