JABALIYA, March 2, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli tanks Thursday fired several shells at open areas north of Beit Lahiya and east of Jabaliya refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said tanks stationed on the border with Gaza fired three shells at two locations east of Jabaliya refugee camp and at another location north of Beit Lahiya.
While there were no reports of injuries, residents said the shelling spread fear and panic among the population in the area, particularly children.
Israel said shots were fired at tractor on the Gaza border without causing any injury prompting its retaliatory attack.
