Al-Nukhaba elementary school students in Sur Baher studying in the street after Israel closed their school. 

JERUSALEM, March 2, 2017 (WAFA) – Students at al-Nukhba elementary school in Sur Baher, an East Jerusalem neighborhood, held classes Thursday in the street outside their school after Israel had ordered their school closed.

Some 250 young students were denied proper classroom education because Israel ordered their school shut down alleging it was funded by Hamas.

The school administration denied the Israeli allegation.

Parents had difficulty relocating their children to another schools as the school year is in its last quarter.
