HEBRON, March 2, 2017 (WAFA) – At least eight Palestinians were detained early Thursday during Israeli military raids on the West Bank districts of Hebron and Tubas, in addition to a youth from the village of Hezma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local and Palestinian security sources.
Seven Palestinians were reportedly detained during military raid-and-search campaign into multiple homes in the Hebron area.
Israeli soldiers further detained a youth after raiding and searching several homes in al-Fara’a refugee camp to the south of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
A youth was detained from his family home in the village of Hezma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem. He was taken to a nearby Israeli detention and interrogation center.
Large cement blocks have been placed by Israeli forces at the main entrances leading to the village of Hezma for over two months now blocking movement of cars while people can only move on foot.
