NABLUS, February 28, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian with special needs Tuesday was injured after Israeli forces shot him at the Huwara checkpoint, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, local and security sources said.
Security sources told WAFA Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian man with special needs from the village of Awarta. The man was shot with a bullet in his foot. He was then moved to the Rafidia hospital in Nablus city.
Two weeks ago, a 14-year-old disabled Palestinian boy from Aida refugee camp was detained by Israeli soldiers. The arrest was caught on video and it showed soldiers tearing the boy’s shirt off and violently throwing him into the jeep.
