RAMALLAH, February 21, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday offered his condolences to his Somali counterpart Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed and the families of the victims of the suicide car bombing that rocked Mogadishu on Sunday.
He condemned what he described as a ‘criminal act, that is against all faiths, beliefs, morality, and international and humanitarian laws.
Abbas wished for the peace, security and prosperity of Somalia, and a speedy recovery for the injured.
According to Reuters, a car bomb ripped through a market in Mogadishu on Sunday, killing 39 people and injuring around 50 others.
