RAMALLAH, February 20, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday detained 19 Palestinians from several cities in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinians Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said in a statement.
The PPS said soldiers detained four Palestinians from the city of Jenin, one of which is a former prisoner, and other four people from the city of Hebron.
Soldiers also detained four people from the city of Bethlehem, two former prisoners from the city of Nablus and two from the city of Ramallah.
According to statistics by the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, the total number of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons is 6,500, with 536 of them being administrative detainees, 300 minors and 53 females.
