BETHLEHEM, February 15, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces tightened closure on the western rural villages near Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank, a local official said on Wednesday.
Hasan Hamamra, head of Housan village council, told WAFA that Israel kept the closure for the fourth day in a row on these villages, particularly Housan.
He said people were not allowed to enter or leave the village and school teachers, employees and workers were prevented from reaching their workplaces.
Israeli forces closed the entrance to the rural villages on Sunday in a collective punishment act claiming Palestinians throw stones at Israeli settlers’ cars on a road nearby.
