Israeli forces block entrance to Bethlehem villages

BETHLEHEM, February 13, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday blocked the main entrance to a number of villages, west of Bethlehem, said a local activist.

Ahmad Salah, who monitors settlement activities in Bethlehem, said an Israeli military bulldozer closed down the main entrance leading to Husan, Battir, Nahhalin and Wadi Fukin villages with earth mounds and cement blocks.

As a result, Palestinians living in these villages were forced to take an alternative by-pass road which passes near the illegal Beitar Illit settlement in order to reach Bethlehem, causing delay and obstructing movement.
