Israeli forces detain 21 Palestinians, including minors, in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, February 13, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained 21 Palestinians during raids in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Monday.

PPS said in a statement that Israeli forces detained nine people, including two ex-prisoners and a minor, from the city of Bethlehem. Soldiers also detained four from Qalqilya, two from Hebron and a minor from al-Jalzoun refugee camp in Ramallah.

Five people, three of which are 16-year-old, were detained in Jerusalem.

Right groups released a report in which they said Israel arrested 590 Palestinians, including 128 children, 14 women, one lawmaker and one journalist in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in January 2017 only.
