JERUSALEM, February 2, 2017 (WAFA) - Palestinians clashed with an Israeli force that entered Shufat refugee camp in East Jerusalem to provide protection to crews from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem on a mission to issue fines to shopkeepers, according to local sources.
Residents pelted the forces with stones and empty bottles, who responded with firing tear gas and rubber bullets.
Shops in the camp shut down to avoid getting fines, which they say are high and unfair imposed on them mainly as a punitive act.
