RAMALLAH, January 29, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy to clear and extremely cold, with a slight rise in temperatures, yet remaining below annual average by three degrees Celsius, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
PMD also predicted weather on Monday to be clear and very cold especially in the morning hours, with another rise in temperatures, setting back to the annual average. Wind is northeasterly to northwesterly light to moderate, and sea waves are low.
Partially cloudy to cloudy skies and cold weather, with a drop in temperature are expected on Tuesday. Rain showers are expected on some areas. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.
Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy and cold to very cold, with a further slight drop in temperatures, approaching three degrees Celsius below annual average. A chance of scattered rain is expected on some areas. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.
The PMD warned citizens against frost formation during the early morning hours on Sunday and Monday.
