RAMALLAH, January 28, 2017 (WAFA) – Schools were called off Saturday in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate as well as the governorate of Bethlehem due to weather conditions, according to education departments in these districts.
Education officials said bad weather conditions and snowfall prompted closure of schools on this day to resume again on Sunday, when the new semester for the public schools commences.
Light snow was reported in these areas during the night. Rain and snow conditions are expected to end on Saturday afternoon.
