JERICHO, January 25, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday demolished Palestinian-owned sheds and an animal barn in Jabal al-Qurantal, near the city of Jericho, citing unpermitted construction as a pretext, according to the International Red Crescent (IRC).

The demolished structures belonged to two brothers who were identified as Yousif and Mohammed Iktaifat.

Representative of Jericho District Sabah Abu Rashed, said Israeli forces target Palestinian residents, farmers, and Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley almost on a daily basis in an attempt to empty the area.

On Tuesday, Israeli forces knocked down other sheds and animal barns belonging to Palestinians in the town of Jiftlk to the north of Jericho.
