JERUSALEM, January 24, 2017 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli settlers protected by police seized on Tuesday a shop in Aqbat al-Khalidiya area in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, according to residents.
The setters closed the shop, owned by Nora Sublaban, from inside and prevented the owners from opening it.
The Sublaban family has been for years fighting attempts by settlers to kick them out of their home and business in that area. The family went to court to stop the settler’s takeover of their home. The case is still pending in Israeli courts.
