RAMALLAH, January 17, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained 23 Palestinians during overnight raids at their homes in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said on Tuesday.
It said police detained Nadia Abu Jamal, from Jabal al-Mukabber in East Jerusalem, whose husband was killed in an attack against Israelis in 2015.
In addition, eight other people were detained from Shufat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, during a police operation in the camp.
The army arrested five people from Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, two from the Ramallah area, one from Fara’a refugee camp near Tubas, one from Qalqilya, four from the Hebron area and one from Taqou in the Bethlehem area.
